Changing names.......

Well, for those of you who have not found out about my recent news through facebook...here it is!

I AM ENGAGED!!  Trent proposed on Thursday night and I was quite surprised.  I knew that it was going to be coming eventually....but he did not let on to anything the whole night we were together.  He proposed in the park next to the house I used to live in.  He had talked to mom and dad three weeks prior while I was in the Ozarks with some friends.

Yes, it is sad that I will be leaving behind our great Irish last name but I will at least be exchanging it for another Irish name!

Can't wait to see everyone in October!!  I hope that everything is going well for you both, Shannon and Eliza.

Great Travelers

The car was loaded down most of the summer for various trips but we all survived. There were happy times and there were sad times but as is true with the Nearys and the Bradys...we made the best of it! Mason was almost the star of the wedding in Houston...we let the bride win out. This made us hopeful for October. Cross your fingers that Maddie does as well. Doesn't he look dashing in his tux? Maddie is growing up too fast and talking more everyday. Everyone that sees her comments on her curly hair. The pics are of our Texas vacation. We had a blast. Shamu was awesome. The first time he jumped out of the water, Mason pee'd his pants...all over Matt's dad. There was some internal satisfaction in that for the daughter in law:) We can't wait to see everyone in 6 weeks. Love to all. Matt, Melissa, Mason and Maddie
