81st Birthday

Just wanted to post a few good pictures from the birthday celebration at the farm today. Despite everything Grandma is going through, like my dad always says "She's like a rock." We've heard from several people these same sentiments. They all say the same thing, "I don't know anyone who has a stronger faith than Pat." It reminds me of the parable about the man who built his house on the Rock:
The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. Matthew 7:25
She really is the greatest!




It was a beautiful day; Dad and I even got to plant four more rows of sweet corn....mmm mmm good! Check for the cheesy potato recipe in the comments very soon:)

We added a new family member!

Hey everyone!
Just thought we'd update the status of our family. This is Finley (Short for Finnigan). He's a 1 1/2 year-old beagle. We adopted him after he was found in Fairfield. He's a little thin still, but is quiet and seems to be housetrained. He's a great fit for us!
Not sure when we'll see everyone next, but we can't wait!
