Mail man willing...you should be getting these goodies this weekend. I have posted a pic for two reasons...#1 Should the US Postal Service fail me, you'll at least know what you missed...and #2 Should Dad eat it all on the way to the farm, you'll at least know what you missed. The first batch of Christmas candy was a total disaster. I threw away 10 cups of sugar and 1 pound of butter in one evening. OUCH!!! I knew if I could call Grandma, she would say, "Don't worry dear, just try it again. It was probably the weather." I think I heard her laughing when I fired up the red KitchenAid to whip up these treats. Not too bad...and the kids helped so they are extra sweet! We love you all and wish we could be there with you. Have a very merry and blessed Christ-filled Christmas! How fortunate we are to have the God of the universe love us so much to come in the form of a baby to save us and forgive us of all our sins. We hope you feel His love and share it with others this season. Love to all!!!

The goodies have made it to Nebraska. Will they make it out alive,or will they be snowed in?
Those are 2 cute kids! And the cookies/candies look great too. We just made another batch of chocolate covered cherries, coconut ones, peanut clusters and I made a new batch of fudge last week! The good thing though, we bought a treadmill, so maybe the candy won't stay on our hips!
Looks like you may get to eat the whole bag of goodies yourself, Bill. They just put a blizzard watch for the counties north of us with the worst being Saturday night into Sunday morning. Winds for Palo Alto are to be 25-35 with gusts to 45. Maybe the weather forecasters will be wrong and it'll be sunny and warm on Sunday. :)
